Job summary

Signal of New England is seeking motivated and dependable Armed Security Officers for part-time / per diem roles in MetroWest MA (Wayland or Arlington). You’ll provide visible security, protect residents and clients, and respond to alarms and emergencies, with duties scheduled September through October 31st and potential extension.

The ideal candidate holds a MA LTC, can carry firearms, and demonstrates professionalism, strong communications, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Massachusetts License to Carry (LTC) required.
• Must have firearm and equipment for conceal/open carry.
• Firearms qualification standards must be completed.
• Attend required training in Natick, MA and Holliston, MA.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a highly visible and professional security presence.
• Conduct routine and random foot patrols of assigned properties and designated areas.
• Monitor activity and identify security concerns, safety hazards, or policy violations.
• Respond promptly to calls for service, alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations.
• Assess situations and take appropriate action while following company policies and client procedures.
• Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports, daily activity reports, and security documentation.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, guests, employees, and client representatives.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, dispatch, management, and emergency responders.
• Assist law enforcement, fire, and emergency medical personnel when required.
• Maintain professionalism and composure during stressful or confrontational situations.
