NYU Langone Health is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse for the PACU in West Palm Beach, Florida. You will provide competent, safe, and compassionate care while collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include adhering to nursing standards, supporting staff and students as a preceptor, engaging in professional development, and coordinating unit activities to meet throughput metrics.

Qualifications

BSN required.
2 years PACU experience required.
Current RN license in New York.

Responsibilities

Adhere to patient care and nursing standards in care delivery.
Engage in self-assessment and peer review for professional development.
Serve as a support, resource, and preceptor for nursing staff and students.
Comply with annual education and mandatory/regulatory requirements.
Organize staff assignments to ensure appropriate delegation of activities.
Comply with unit-based and organizational professional standards.
Analyze achievement of unit throughput efficiencies and metrics.
Coordinate and direct unit activities to provide patient care.
Evaluate the patient's progress towards expected outcomes.
Educate the patient/family regarding health status and established plan of care.
