Job summary

Qualifications

Current Registered Professional Nurse in New York; Bachelors degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
Basic Life Support Certification through the American Heart Association.
Fluent written and spoken English language skills.

Responsibilities

Demonstrates solid understanding of quality and safety indicators in patient care.
Collects, assesses and documents patient healthcare data.
Involves patient/family and interdisciplinary team to plan measurable outcomes.
Prioritizes care based on collected data and documents assessments in records.
Implements safe, timely interventions and escalates when needed.
Educates patient/family about health status and care plan.
Documents learning outcomes and revises education plans as needed.
Evaluates progress with the patient/family and team participation.
Contributes to unit activities and throughput metrics while adhering to standards.
