Dartmouth Health's New London Hospital seeks a registered nurse for per diem pre- and post-operative support in surgical services. You will collaborate with anesthesia, surgeons and nursing staff to ensure safe admissions, accurate procedures and optimal patient outcomes.

This role requires NH nursing licensure eligibility, ACLS and BLS certifications, and a day shift. The department emphasizes patient safety, education for patients and caregivers, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• 2 years relevant clinical practice preferred (critical care or PACU).

Responsabilidades

• Utilizes nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate and revise patient care.
• Provide age-appropriate care and education to patients and caregivers.
• Adhere to established practice standards and hospital procedures.
• Prepare patients for surgical services and coordinate with anesthesia/surgeon.
• Monitor safety and prevent healthcare errors.
• Collaborate with team to ensure chart completeness before procedures.
