Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the PACU in Elmhurst, IL. This per diem role supports a fast-paced surgical unit and requires flexible hours including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

You will assess patient status, deliver direct nursing care, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes. APRN supervision may be required in some duties, with documented competencies.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree in nursing or higher
• BSN required within 5 years from start date
• License/Certification: Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
• Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS within ninety days of start date into position
• PALS within ninety days of start date into position

Responsibilities

• Renders professional nursing care to provide quality patient care.
• Employing critical thinking skills, assesses patients' condition, recognizes deviations, plans and evaluates care, monitors patients' progress, and records pertinent observations.
• Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff.
• Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals.
