Job summary

Regions Hospital is seeking a per diem Occupational Therapist to serve adult patients on acute units within a Level 1 trauma hospital. The role offers two weekend shifts monthly and one holiday per year, with weekday shifts available to maintain coverage and support planned leaves.

Training into the 21-bed CARF-accredited Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility is available based on interest and readiness. Onboarding is thorough, with mentorship from experienced staff and ongoing in-services to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Licensed in Minnesota as an Occupational Therapist.
• Registration with the Minnesota State Department of Health as an Occupational Therapist.
• Current certification with the National Board of Certification for Occupational Therapy within six months.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to adult patients on acute units of Regions Hospital.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Document patient progress and adjust goals as needed.
• Support training into the inpatient rehabilitation facility as interest/experience allow.

Education

Bachelor’s/Master’s/Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy

Licensed in Minnesota as an Occupational Therapist

Registration with the Minnesota State Department of Health as an Occupational Therapist

NBCOT certification within six months
