Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking an Occupational Therapist for inpatient rehabilitation. You will assess patients, interpret history and baseline function, and develop a plan of care to improve functional outcomes.

You will document findings and communicate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and discharge planners to ensure quality care. The role emphasizes direct patient care, patient and family education, and participation in multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• BLS Certification and state license (Ohio) required.
• New graduates with excellent references considered.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients under physician referrals.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care.
• Document evaluation, progress, and discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals and exercises.
• Coordinate with physicians, nurses, case managers and other staff.
• Supervise COTA and rehab technicians and participate in staff orientation.
• May work at other care sites as needed.
