Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school.
• Entry-level position; no experience required.
• Current Occupational Therapist license in the State of California, or licensed applicant status in the state of California.
• BLS Certification through the American Heart Association.
• For pediatric service, CCS Panel provider or complete application within 60 days of hire or when hours attained.

Responsibilities

• Develops treatment goals and plans based on evaluation data and discharge plans.
• Implements safe, effective, and efficient patient treatment programs.
• Modifies treatment plans according to patient progress and discharge needs.
• Completes evaluations, progress notes, reassessments, discharge summaries, and third-party reports on time.
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals for integrated care.
• Precepts OT students after one year in position.
• Maintains department survey readiness and participates in case conferences.
