JAG Physical Therapy in New York is seeking a Per Diem Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients with upper extremity conditions. The role involves hands-on therapy, orthosis fabrication, and EMR documentation in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

The candidate should hold a OT license in NY, have 1+ year of OT experience, and preferably a Certification in Hand Therapy (CHT). This per diem position supports our care-first rehabilitation model across multiple facilities.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree required; Doctorate preferred.
• Licensed Occupational Therapist in NY (or eligible).
• CHT preferred but not required; outpatient hand therapy experience a plus.
• Experience in an outpatient hand therapy setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Perform comprehensive evaluations and interventions for upper extremity conditions.
• Fabricate custom orthoses for upper extremity diagnoses.
• Record patient care data in EMR and maintain productivity.
• Prepare evaluations with history, diagnoses, and plan of care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and patient support system.
