Southeast Health seeks a Staff Occupational Therapist with a degree in Occupational Therapy and state licensure in Alabama. You will assess physical, cognitive, and perceptual capacities and deliver targeted therapy to improve independence across age groups.

Responsibilities include managing records and ensuring department efficiency per guidelines, serving pediatric to geriatric patients as referred by physicians.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Eligible or current license in Occupational Therapy in the State of Alabama.
• Must be registered or eligible to register with the State Board.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate a patient’s physical, cognitive and perceptual functional capacities and provide goal directed, activity-oriented treatment.
• Facilitate development or maintenance of independence in age-appropriate daily life tasks.
• Manage therapy records and ensure the department runs effectively per established guidelines.
• Respond to physician referrals for pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric populations ages 0–100+.
