Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking a Per diem Inpatient Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, high-quality care in a specialized orthopedic and medical/surgical unit. You will assess needs, develop care plans, and deliver direct care including treatments and medications.

With self-scheduling, you’ll join a 30-bed unit emphasizing safety, innovation, and teamwork, often working weekends/holidays to ensure continuous patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing (required).
• Ability to meet unit-specific standards and provide comprehensive patient care.
• Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Provide direct care such as treatments, medications, and diagnostics.
• Evaluate intervention effectiveness and adjust care accordingly.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team and communicate patient progress.
• Address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families.
• Participate in decision-making, quality, and safety initiatives.
• Troubleshoot equipment and ensure safety standards are met.
