Ortho OIC in Arlington, VA is seeking a Certified Physician Assistant with orthopedic and sports medicine experience to provide acute care for patients seeking immediate orthopedic services.

You will perform joint injections, assist with casting/splinting, and interpret X-rays in a collaborative team setting. The role includes a fixed Saturday shift, and offers growth within the Privia Medical Group network.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of post-graduate experience in an Orthopedic or Sports Medicine setting.
• Certified Physician Assistant with proficiency in joint injections.
• Experience with sprains, strains, and fractures; joint, muscle, tendon, and nerve injuries; X-ray interpretation, casting, bracing, and splinting.
• Enthusiastic about learning and contributing to a collaborative team.

Responsabilités

• Provide acute orthopedic and sports medicine care for immediate patients.
• Perform joint injections and assist with casting/splinting as needed.
• Work one Saturday per month and collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Ortho OIC, a premier orthopedic urgent care clinic in Arlington & Chantilly, VA, is seeking a Certified Physician Assistant with a strong background in orthopedics and sports medicine. This position offers a collaborative environment with opportunities to grow and advance in the field of orthopedic care.

Position Highlights:

• Schedule: One Saturday shift per month from 8am-6pm
• Scope of Practice: Focus on acute orthopedic and sports medicine conditions for patients seeking immediate care.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of post-graduate experience in an Orthopedic or Sports Medicine setting.
• Certified Physician Assistant, proficient in joint injections.
• Experience with:
  • Sprains, strains, and fractures
  • Joint, muscle, tendon, and nerve injuries
  • X-ray interpretation, casting, bracing, and splinting
  • Sports-related and work-related injuries
• Self-motivated and eager to contribute to a collaborative team.
• Enthusiastic about learning and providing high-quality patient care.

Compensation & Benefits: The hourly range for this role is $65 to $90 per hour and is exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on relevant factors such as experience, education, and geographic location.
