Job summary

UC San Diego Health is seeking a per diem Registered Nurse II to provide skilled nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures in the Outpatient Pavilion. The RN II will float to Thornton and Hillcrest and work 10-hour days, Monday–Friday, at a 20% appointment.

The role requires an accredited nursing degree, CA RN license, BART or BLS with plan to obtain BART within six months, and minimum 2 years OR experience across multiple service lines. BSN and CNOR preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Clinical Nurse provides skilled nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
• The Clinical Nurse identifies and implements nursing interventions and evaluates results for a wide variety of patient populations.
