Surgery Partners is seeking a Registered Nurse to support the OR, advancing patient care from preoperative through postoperative phases. You will work under the Supervisor of Clinical Services and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a Baptist Surgery Center setting.

Required are nursing licensure, ACLS/BLS, and a commitment to evidence-based practice, patient safety, and compliance with the Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse License.
• Current American Heart Assn. BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsabilités

• Deliver patient care through the nursing process across preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative phases.
• Assess physiological and psychosocial health status of the patient.
• Document care accurately in the patient record and communicate with staff for continuity of care.
• Verify patient identity, site and prepare for surgical procedures per policy.
• Respond to emergencies and adapt care plans as patient needs change.
