Kaua'i Veterans Memorial Hospital (KVMH) of Hawai'i Health Systems Corporation (HHSC) Kaua'i Region seeks a Per Diem Nurse for Surgery to support SDS, OR, recovery, and sterile processing. This role emphasizes patient care leadership and collaboration with the surgical team.

The position requires a nursing degree, Hawaii RN license, and active BLS; ACLS/PALS and NRP within one year; one year of nursing experience; and the ability to rotate shifts, with some weekends/holidays.

Qualificações

• EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• EXPERIENCE: One (1) year of professional nursing work experience.
• CERTIFICATIONS: BLS within one month; ACLS, PALS, NRP within one year.
• LICENSURES: Hawai'i professional nursing license; driver’s license preferred.
• CITIZENSHIP: United States citizen/national or eligible to work in US.
• HEALTH/PHYSICAL: must meet health/physical requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinates nursing care for patients in Surgery/OR/Recovery.
• Provides leadership and collaborates with staff to maintain high standards of nursing care.
• May involve rotating shifts, evenings, weekends, holidays, and potential floating to other units.
