Job summary

US Fertility in Orlando, FL, is seeking an Ambulatory Surgery Center Registered Nurse (Per Diem) to provide high-quality nursing care in the operating room for procedures such as egg retrievals, hysteroscopies, and embryo transfers.

The role requires an active RN license, 1 year OR/PACU/ASC experience preferred, and current AHA/BLS/ACLS certifications (or ability to obtain before start). You will work in a fast-paced, collaborative ASC environment, documenting care in the EMR in real time.

Qualifications

Current RN license.
1 year of recent OR/PACU/ASC experience preferred.
Current AHA, BLS, and ACLS certifications (or ability to obtain before start).
Strong perioperative nursing knowledge and patient safety focus.
Excellent critical thinking and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care in the operating room.
Assist in pre-operative assessments and verify surgical consents.
Perform pre-operative, intraoperative, and post-operative patient care duties for surgical procedures.
Monitor patients intraoperatively and respond to patient status changes or emergencies.
Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and clinical support teams.
Maintain sterile field and adherence to infection control protocols.
Document patient care in the EMR system in real-time with accuracy and detail.
Provide post-operative education and discharge instructions to patients and partners.
Participate in patient safety, quality improvement initiatives, and ASC accreditation compliance.
