Job summary

Mountain View Eye Center is seeking a per diem Registered Nurse to perform conscious sedation for ophthalmic surgeries. This part-time role requires current RN licensure, ACLS/BLS, and operating room experience. No evenings or weekends.

You will handle preop/postop calls, admissions, education, and assist with sterile technique and infection control in a fast-paced eye surgery setting. Competitive benefits and training provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and licensed as an RN.
• Current ACLS/AED certification is mandatory.
• Experience in operating rooms and sterile technique preferred.
• Ability to perform conscious sedation and advocate patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Preoperative and postoperative patient calls.
• Patient admission and discharge.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
• Intraoperative circulation and conscious sedation.
• Oversee infection control and assist with OR setup.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans.
