Job summary

Montage Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Per Diem outpatient Oncology coverage. The RN will plan, direct, assess and provide nursing care per hospital and department policies, emphasizing quality, safety and strong public/customer relations.

Experienced in oncology and chemotherapy administration; California RN license, BLS required, with PALS to be obtained by Sept 1, 2026. OCN and ONS certs encouraged.

Qualifications

• State of California RN license required.
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS required.
• PALS certification must be obtained prior to completion of orientation for those hired/transferred into Outpatient Oncology position by Sept 1, 2026.
• OCN certification highly preferred.
• ONS chemotherapy/biotherapy certificate must be completed within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, assess and provide nursing care per hospital and department policies.
• Orient new staff and precept students; assume relief charge nurse duties as oriented.
• Per diem, variable schedule based on outpatient staffing and patient care needs; hours/days vary with department needs.
