Job summary

Stamford Health is looking for a per diem Pharmacy Oncology Technician to support their outpatient pharmacy infusion center in Stamford, Connecticut. The technician will be responsible for all aspects of sterile compounding, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of three years' experience in a hospital or infusion therapy setting with sterile compounding experience.
• Registered Pharmacy Technician in Connecticut.
• Must obtain national certification within six months from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of sterile compounding in the pharmacy infusion center.
• Ensure compliance with USP797 and USP800 regulatory standards.
• Monitor and manage inventory of chemotherapy and biotherapy drugs.
