Job summary

Temple University Health System seeks an Occupational Therapist to join Fox Chase Cancer Center on a per diem basis. The therapist plans, evaluates and treats patients in inpatient and outpatient settings, using a holistic approach to maximize functional outcomes.

The role involves participating in established therapy programs, developing discharge plans, and directing support personnel within the scope of practice. Licensure by PA and NBCOT, and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from accredited Occupational Therapy program Required
• Master's Degree from accredited Occupational Therapy program Preferred or
• Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree Required
• 2 years experience in an Occupational Therapy Setting Preferred
• PA Occupational Therapist Lic Required
• Natl Board Certified OT Required
• Basic Life Support Required

Responsibilities

• Plans, evaluates and treats patients, using a holistic approach to maximize functional capabilities in inpatient/outpatient settings.
• Participates in established occupational therapy programs including patient care and education.
• Evaluates and treats patients and establishes treatment programs and discharge plans.
• Directs support personnel within the scope of practice.
