Job summary

Concentra is seeking an Occupational Therapist in Orlando, FL to provide high-quality patient care. The role includes evaluating patients, formulating treatment plans, and ensuring plan execution in line with Concentra protocols.

Responsibilities include direct patient care across musculoskeletal, neurological, and other conditions; documentation; coordination with medical staff; and patient education to support recovery and prevention. A strong customer service mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college/university
• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Successful completion of the National Registry Examination
• Hand Therapy Certification Exam preferred

• Ability to make decisions using logic and issue quality solutions
• Outstanding customer service and professional interaction
• HIPAA and PHI confidentiality in line with laws and policies

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care
• Evaluate muscle, skeletal, neurological and related problems
• Coordinate treatment with multidisciplinary teams
• Document patient care accurately
• Follow QA and regulatory policies
• Communicate with staff and patients to ensure coordinated care
• Solve problems and resolve conflicts effectively
• Inform Therapy Director of issues and needs
• Plan and implement physical therapy treatment programs
• Educate patients on care and exercises
• Administer modalities, therapeutic exercises, gait training, hydrotherapy
• Secure prescriptions for treated patients
• Collaborate with physicians for integrated care
• Participate in center meetings and external seminars
