Select Specialty Hospital - Wheeling is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our new in-house therapy team. This per diem role is based at Wheeling Hospital on the 2nd floor, with Monday–Friday schedule and a pay rate of $50.00 per hour.

You will supervise OTAs and OT/COTA students, participate in discharge planning, and help build the department while delivering compassionate post-ICU rehab to chronic patients.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist required.
• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.

Responsabilités

• Participate in discharge planning for each patient, including placement, patient/family education and adaptive equipment.
• Supervise certified occupational therapy assistants (OTAs), as well as OT and COTA students.
• Conduct individual patient therapy regimens.
• Monitor patients’ responses to treatment.
• Participate in continuing education seminars and in-services.
