Job summary

UnitedHealth Group's Patient Care division seeks a Per Diem Occupational Therapist to assess and evaluate patients' functional status, ADLs, and home-therapy needs across varied settings. You will contribute to CMS documentation and coordinate care with the physician.

You will educate patients and families, document progress, and work with the care team to adapt plans. A valid OT license and a driver's license are required; CPR certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy licensure in state of practice.
• Current driver's license and access to a vehicle or public transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients' functional status and ADLs.
• Consult with physician to develop therapy plan of care.
• Monitor patient response and report changes to the team.
• Instruct patients and families in therapy techniques.
• Provide care in diverse home settings without discrimination.
