Job summary

Prime Healthcare is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide consultative and therapeutic OT services in a hospital setting. The role aims to restore function and prevent disability for patients with musculoskeletal, neuromuscular and cardiopulmonary disorders, working within department and hospital policies.

The position requires a Bachelor or Master in Occupational Therapy, active OT licensure, BCLS certification, and NBCOT/AOTA/OTAC certification preferred. Per diem status, daytime shifts.

Qualifications

• OT degree from accredited program (Bachelor or Master).
• Active state OT license/certification.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate.
• NBCOT/AOTA/OTAC certification preferred.

Job description

Responsibilities

Provides medically prescribed consultative and therapeutic services within scope of practice in order to restore function and prevent disability for clients or patients with musculoskeletal, neuromuscular and cardiopulmonary disorders. Performs responsibilities in accordance with department and Hospital Policies, state, federal and regulatory requirements: Title 22 Section 70517, 70519. Functions according to professional practice as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. Bachelor or Master Degree in Occupational Therapy.

2. Current state Occupational Therapy certification/license.

3. Current BCLS (AHA) certificate.

4. National Board for Certification Occupational Therapy certification, AOTA and OTAC preferred.

Pay Transparency
