Select Medical is seeking a per diem Occupational Therapist (OT) to support patient care in Portage, Indiana. This PRN role emphasizes discharge planning, direct therapy, and collaboration with OTAs and students to maintain high standards of rehab services.

Responsibilities include conducting individual therapy sessions, monitoring patient progress, and participating in ongoing education seminars. Current state OT licensure and BLS are required; 401k and comprehensive benefits are offered with

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or completion within 90 days of employment required.

Mansioni

• Participate in discharge planning for each patient, including placement, patient/family education and adaptive equipment.
• Supervise certified occupational therapy assistants (OTAs), as well as OT and COTA students.
• Conduct individual patient therapy regimens.
• Monitor patients' responses to treatment.
• Participate in continuing education seminars and in-services.
