Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in Pittsburgh is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join on a PRN/per diem basis.

You will participate in discharge planning, supervise OTAs and students, conduct individual therapy regimens, monitor responses, and engage in continuing education.

Current state licensure required; BLS certification within 90 days of employment; Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist required.
• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in discharge planning for each patient, including placement, patient/family education and adaptive equipment
• Supervise certified occupational therapy assistants (OTAs), as well as OT and COTA students
• Conduct individual patient therapy regimens
• Monitor patients’ responses to treatment
• Participate in continuing education seminars and in-services
