Job summary

Select Medical in Oxford, FL is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for a per-diem/PRN schedule with no weekend hours. The role includes discharge planning, supervising OTAs and OT/COTA students, and delivering individual therapy in a high‑intensity recovery environment.

We offer a $53.00/hr compensation and a $3,000 sign‑on bonus, with opportunities to transition to full‑time roles based on performance and opening availability.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist required.
• BLS certification or completion in first 90 days of employment required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in discharge planning for each patient, including placement, patient/family education and adaptive equipment
• Supervise certified occupational therapy assistants (OTAs), as well as OT and COTA students
• Conduct individual patient therapy regimens
• Monitor patients’ responses to treatment
• Participate in continuing education seminars and in-services
