Job summary

Workcare Inc. seeks a per diem Occupational Health RN to support client sites mainly in Novato, CA, and Berkeley, CA. The role covers testing, injury/illness care, workers' compensation, and wellness education within the RN scope of practice.

Responsibilities include EMR maintenance, regulatory testing, and clinic coordination; 3–5 years RN experience, CA license, and BLS required, with Occupational Health certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with rn license in CA.
• BSN: preferred.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• 3–5 years RN experience in healthcare settings.
• 2–3 years in urgent care, ED or occupational health preferred.
• Certification in Occupational Health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care within RN scope following guidelines.
• Respond to emergent and non-emergent situations.
• Maintain EMR documentation accurately.
• Perform regulatory testing (spirometry, audiometry, vision tests, A1C, cholestec).
• Deliver preventive health education to employees.
• Support clinic operations including scheduling and filing.
• Coordinate employee exams and medical surveillance.
