WorkCare, Inc. is seeking a per diem Occupational Health Registered Nurse (RN) to support client sites primarily in Novato and Berkeley, CA. The role provides nursing care within the RN scope, including regulatory testing, injury/illness care, and wellness education.

You will maintain EMR (Cority), coordinate exams and surveillance, assist with clinic operations, and collaborate with the Clinic Lead, Program Manager, and client to ensure compliant, efficient care.

Qualificações

• RN license required.
• Experience in occupational health settings preferred.
• Proficient EMR documentation and record-keeping.

Job Summary

We are seeking a per diem Occupational Health Registered Nurse (RN) to support our client sites primarily in Novato and Berkeley, CA.

This position is responsible for performing regulatory testing, injury/illness care, workers comp, wellness education for employees within the nursing scope of practice, the structure of the Client Standards, policies, procedures, and treatment care guidelines.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Provides medical care to clinic patients as requested/needed, and within the RN scope of practice, following treatment care guidelines set forth by the occupational health director.
• Responds to emergent and non-emergent situations
• Maintain Electronic Medical Record (EMR- Cority) and ensures complete & accurate documentation
• May perform regulatory testing including but not limited to: Respiratory medical evaluation, spirometry, audiometry, vision tests A1C's, Cholestec's,
• Provides preventive health education to employees as needed within scope of practice.
• Participates in general flow of clinic operations (answers phones, checks email, scheduling, filing, copying charts).
• Maintain clinic's medical & office supplies in collaboration with ancillary staff
• Maintains communication with the Clinic Lead, Program Manager and client as necessary
• Coordinates employee exams & medical surveillance
• Other duties as assigned or those duties that may be required as management deems necessary.
