Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a food service environment.
• Diet knowledge preferred.
• Experience using a phone system is preferred.
• Strong oral communication skills and MS Office proficiency.

Responsabilités

• Meets with patients, Dietitians and staff about nutrition needs.
• Assists patients with meal selections by phone or bedside.
• Reviews menus and corrects selections to match diet orders.
• Processes new diets and changes and records information for patient care.
• Checks trays for accuracy, temperature and appearance.
• Ensures meals are delivered within designated time frame.
• Identifies patient by full name and date of birth before orders and delivery.
• Maintains call center records and files.

Connaissances

3+ years in food service

Diet knowledge (preferred)

Phone system experience (preferred)

Strong oral communication

MS Office proficiency
