Job summary

Providence Women’s and Children’s Services is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join the Newborn Hospitalist Service in a Per Diem role. You will provide inpatient rounding, newborn resuscitation, and take calls from home as part of a collaborative team at two campuses in Oregon.

Ideal candidates are experienced PNP, FNP, or NNP with Oregon APRN and RN licenses, and NRP certification. Malpractice insurance is provided by Providence.

Qualifications

• Oregon APRN license and RN license required.
• DEA license required.
• NRP certification required.

Responsibilities

• Rounding on newborns and providing resuscitation services.
• Handle calls from home as part of the newborn hospitalist team.
• Work across Providence Willamette Falls and Providence Newberg medical centers.

Job description

Providence Women’s and Children’s Services is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join Providence Newborn Hospitalist Service in a Per Diem role. You will be part of a collaborative team of physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and support staff as you provide inpatient rounding and newborn resuscitation services for the Newborn Hospitalist team. Ideal candidates are either experienced Pediatric, Family Medicine, or Neonatal Nurse Practitioners. In this role, you will see patients at both Providence Newberg Medical Center and Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center.

Position Highlights:

• 24-hours shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. at Providence Willamette Falls and 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. at Providence Newberg

• Rounding on newborns, providing resuscitation services, taking call from home

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

• Experienced PNP, FNP, NNP

• Oregon Advance Practice License and Oregon RN License, DEA License

• NRP certification
