Remote Per Diem Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant – Lewiston/Portland, ME

HCRC (Health Care Resource Centers) is seeking a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant who will work independently under the oversight of the medical director.

HCRC specializes in addiction treatment programs providing medically-supervised services for adults in various modalities and settings. Primary Job Functions:

  • Assist in admitting patients for Methadone and Buprenorphine Treatment.
  • Obtain patient history and perform physical exams.
  • Document into the EMR.
  • Authorize and supervise dispensing of daily narcotic replacement therapy and other medications in the absence of the Medical Director.
  • Monitor patient dosages in collaboration with the Program Physician/Medical Director, Treatment Center Director, Counselors, and Dosing Nurses.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

  • Must be licensed in the state of Maine.
