Job summary

The role requires 1 year pre/post or Critical Care RN experience, with 2 years preferred, and current NJ-RN, BLS, ACLS, and PALS within 6 months of hire. BSN preferred and collaboration with a skilled surgical team is essential.

Qualifications

• 1 year pre/post or Critical Care RN experience required; 2 years of experience preferred.
• BSN preferred; Graduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing
• Current NJ-RN License (Registered Nurse)
• Current NJ-BLS Certification (Basic Life Support)
• Current NJ-ACLS
• PALS within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

• The Registered RN is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility for a group of patients for a designated time frame and supervises care.
• Follows established policies and procedures and communicates openly with internal customers and supervisors.
• Provides excellent customer service and interfaces well with all levels of staff, management and physicians.
• Participates in quality assurance and performance improvement projects and cross training in other specialty areas.
