Description:

Nuclear Medicine Technologist - CNYPAI - Full Time - Days

ColumbiaDoctors and NewYork-Presbyterian's Advanced Imaging (CNYPAI) collaborate to expand outpatient radiology services using MRI and PET CT. Our mission is to diagnose, treat, and innovate in healthcare, ensuring the highest standards for patient care.

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will handle, prepare, administer, and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals. You will perform quality control, follow aseptic techniques, and collaborate with radiology physicians to evaluate patients effectively.

***Various Shifts Available***

Preferred Criteria

• ARRT (MR)
• NY State Department of Health Diagnostic Radiography License with contrast
• Experience in PET/CT, PET/CT Cardiology, and research
• Experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
• IV insertion/Isotope injection
• Experience with GE equipment

Required Criteria

• NY State Nuclear Medicine License
• ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT) certification, or ARRT (R) if no CT certification
• Graduate of an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology Program or degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
