Job summary

shm is seeking a per diem Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Florham Park, NJ to perform radiopharmaceutical injections and cardiac studies. You will assist radiologists, maintain QA, and ensure safety protocols are followed.

Strong English communication and NRC-compliant practices are required. Eligible candidates have a high school diploma or GED, ARRT/CNMT certification, and willingness to commute to satellite offices as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; additional degrees preferred.
• BLS certification required; ARRT and CNMT are preferred credentials.
• Ability to perform nuclear medicine procedures and inject radiopharmaceuticals.
• Strong communication in English and good interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and injects radiopharmaceuticals per NRC regulations.
• Measures radioactive concentrations to assist radiologists.
• Performs cardiac nuclear studies and assists physicians as needed.
• Documents test reasons, allergies, and reports results timely.
• Maintains QA and safety procedures for equipment and workflow.
• Ensures proper spill response and decontamination procedures.
