Job summary

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) invites Neurology physicians to join NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan on a Per Diem basis. The role includes in-patient consultations, outpatient clinic work, and teaching medical residents and students in the Neurology Department.

Board Certification or Eligibility in Neurology is required, with an active NYS medical license. Spanish language skills are preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Board Certification or Eligibility in Neurology.
• Active and unrestricted NYS medical license.
• Spanish language ability preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• In-patient consultation service and out-patient clinic work.
• Teaching for Medical Residents and Medical Students.
• Treat acute stroke patients with tPA; Thrombectomy cases are transferred.
• EMGs are performed and interpreted by the Rehabilitation Department.
