Job summary

PAGNY, the physician group that serves NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan, is seeking a Neurologist (Per Diem) to join the Metropolitan Hospital team. This role includes in-patient consultation, outpatient clinic duties, and teaching Medical Residents and Medical Students in the Neurology Department.

The department treats acute stroke with tPA and supports thrombectomy transfers. EMGs are performed and interpreted by the Rehabilitation Department.

Qualifications

• Board Certification or Eligibility in Neurology.
• Active and unrestricted NYS medical license.
• Spanish language ability preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• In-patient consultation service and outpatient clinic work.
• Teaching for Medical Residents and Medical Students.
• Treat acute stroke patients with tPA; thrombectomy cases may be transferred.
• EMGs are performed and interpreted by the Rehabilitation Department.
