Job summary

SpecialtyCare is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technologist to perform electroneurodiagnostic studies including EEG, Evoked Potentials, and Transcranial Doppler under supervision. Responsibilities include patient setup, data collection, and reporting to support neurology care.

The role requires clinical knowledge, technical skills, and the ability to work independent on certain shifts. Training, continuing education, and integration with the NeuroCare team are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a CAAHEP accredited END training program or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience preferred with on-the-job training acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Explain test procedures to the patient and family using age-appropriate language.
• Set up patient for the appropriate study and apply 10-20 system electrodes.
• Calibrate, adjust, and troubleshoot END equipment to ensure accurate data.
• Document studies with technical descriptions to assist physicians with interpretation.
• Attend continuing education courses and assist new technologists as needed.
