Job summary

SpecialtyCare is the industry leader in intraoperative neuromonitoring (IONM) services in the US—monitoring over 60,000 cases annually, providing IONM services to over 450 hospitals nationwide, and supporting over 1,700 surgeons. The Neurodiagnostic Technologist conducts electroneurodiagnostic procedures, collects data, and prepares reports under clinical supervision.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited END program or on-the-job training with 1–2 years of experience preferred.
• 1–2 years of END experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Explain test procedures to patients and family members.
• Perform END studies (EEG, Evoked Potentials, TCD) per protocol.
• Set up patient, paperwork, room and equipment for studies.
• Apply recording electrodes according to the 10-20 system.
• Calibrate, evaluate and adjust equipment for optimal data.
• Troubleshoot to ensure accurate recording and data quality.
• Document study observations and assist with final interpretation.
• Provide training and education support to other technologists.
• Participate in on-call scheduling and maintain patient care standards.
