Job summary

Summit Health in Berkeley Heights, NJ is seeking a Per Diem MRI Technologist for our Outpatient Imaging Department. You will perform MR examinations, ensure patient safety, and produce high-quality diagnostic images while following MRI protocols.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited MRI program, current MRI certification, ARRT or ARMRIT certification, BLS, 1–3 years' experience, and strong English communication. Ability to travel to satellite locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited MRI program with current MRI certification.
• ARRT or ARMRIT certification is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• 1–3 years' experience required.
• Advanced computer skills including EMR, RIS and PACS.

Responsibilities

• Performs MR examinations following MRI protocols to produce optimum results.
• Assesses patient risk factors and ensures safety and comfort during procedures.
• Communicates with Radiologist and verifies orders.
• Maintains MRI room cleanliness and adheres to infection control standards.
• Performs routine quality control on equipment and power injectors when applicable.
