Job summary

University of California, Irvine Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform comprehensive MRI studies and support the imaging department across multiple sites. The role requires flexibility to cover on-call shifts and participate in varied schedules to meet patient needs.

The candidate should hold an Advanced Specialty Certification or have graduated from an accredited MRI program, with ARRT certification pursued within six months of hire. Venipuncture and BLS are also required.

Qualifications

Your Role on the Team

Position Summary

The MRI Technologist performs the full range of basic and advanced level procedures in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). The technologist acts as resources to others as needed, and is required to be on-call basis and work varied shifts as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Must be willing to work flexible shifts, including occasional weekends, holidays and overtime as assigned
• Must be able to participate in on call rotation and work occasional weekends & evenings
• May be assigned to work in ambulatory clinics
• Advanced Specialty Certification OR Graduate from an accredited school of MRI--must obtain Advanced Specialty certification within 6 months of hire date

Preferred Qualifications

• ARRT license/certification within six (6) months from date of hire
