New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center (NHOC) in Bedford/Nashua is seeking a Per Diem MRI Technologist to join our imaging team. This role emphasizes high-quality MRI examinations while prioritizing patient safety, comfort, and privacy.

You will prepare, position, educate patients, operate MRI equipment, and collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure efficient care. The position offers flexible per diem scheduling, with Thursdays, Fridays and some Saturdays required.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT (MR) certification is required.
• Minimum of 1 year MRI experience preferred; outpatient orthopaedic experience is a plus.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Strong communication skills with a focus on patient care.
• Flexibility to work variable per diem hours as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Prepare, position, and educate patients for imaging procedures.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality throughout the exam.
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment, promptly reporting technical issues.
• Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient care.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA and NHOC standards.
