Qualifications

• Orientation to the MRI Department with understanding Atrius Health policies and procedures
• Malpractice Insurance coverage with signed approvals and COI
• Board eligible or certified by ABR or AOCR
• Unrestricted licensure in the state of Massachusetts
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Responsibilities

• Provide medical supervision of MRI examinations at Atrius Health MRI departments
• Provide emergency medical treatment in MRI departments as needed
• Remain near the MRI unit during scheduled shift and coordinate with MRI technologists
• Consult on use of contrast agents per Atrius Health protocols and policies
• Evaluate questionable MRI findings in consultation with AH radiologist and document in Epic
• Obtain informed consent from pregnant patients undergoing MRI
• Administer IV Lasix for MR programs per department policy
