Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) in New Jersey is seeking a Per-Diem MRI Technologist for our Basking Ridge location. You will perform advanced MRI imaging procedures with precision, under supervision, and support a high-quality radiology service for outpatient care.

You will work under the radiology team, ensuring accurate imaging, timely reporting, and excellent patient interaction. MSK offers competitive per-diem pay and collaborative clinical environments.

Qualifications

• Requires degree from a 2 yr AMA approved Radiology school or a 1 yr MRI technologist program.
• New Jersey State license in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT registration (MRI) (R), and MRI certification (MR).

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of MRI imaging procedures with independent judgment in an outpatient center.
• Conduct examinations accurately and efficiently; ensure image quality and submit for physician review.
• Lead all aspects of exam procedures to improve efficiency and patient care.
• Prepare records and enter data into the information management system.
• Maintain a neat, safe environment and perform quality control tests as assigned.

Join a world-class radiology team at MSK Commack! As a Per-Diem MRI Technologist, you will support the Radiology team at our Basking Ridge, NJ location. In this per diem role, you will perform advanced MRI imaging procedures with precision and compassion, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and diagnostic quality. Role Overview:

• Perform a variety of Magnetic Resonance (M.R.) imaging procedures that require independent judgment and ingenuity within an outpatient center.
• Under the administrative direction of the Manager and under the clinical guidance of the Radiologist, perform a variety of MRI procedures while applying their technical ability independently.
• Perform all examinations accurately, completely and efficiently, checking technical quality, and submits completed exams for physician to review.
• Lead all aspects of the exam procedures to improve exam efficiency while meeting patient needs.
• Prepare accurate records and enters required data into information management system.
• Maintain a neat, clean, safe environment, and performs quality control tests as assigned.
• Treat those individuals (e.g., patient/family, client, center employee) who depend on the quality, accuracy and timeliness of the work as unique individuals in a respectful, courteous manner, and focuses on understanding and meeting their needs.
• Work collaboratively with others to accomplish departmental and organizational goals.

Key Qualifications:

• Schedule: Two Saturdays a month and weekdays as needed.
• Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Regional Radiology

Per Diem rate - $80 hour
