Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a Per Diem Mental Health Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Behavioral Health team at Maryland Correctional Institution for Women in Jessup, Maryland.

The RN is responsible for providing holistic care to incarcerated patients under the supervision of the DON and Nursing Supervisor, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to identify and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs.

Qualifications

• MD RN license required; BSN preferred but not required
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory nursing experience
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Experience in correctional or behavioral health settings preferred
• Ability to obtain a security clearance including background checks

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients
• Collaborate with DON and Nursing Supervisor and multidisciplinary team
• Assess and respond to physical, psychological, and social needs of patients
• Work within Behavioral Health team at Maryland Correctional Institution for Women in Jessup, MD
