Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Behavioral Health team at Patuxent Correctional Institution located in Jessup, Maryland. The RN will provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the DON and Nursing Supervisor, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of needs.

The position requires Maryland RN license; CPR/BLS certification; and availability for evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Must hold Maryland RN license; BSN preferred but not required.
• Progressive nursing experience with a minimum of 2 years supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be CPR/BLS certified.
• Experience in correctional or behavioral health environment preferred.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the DON/Nursing Supervisor.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess and respond to physical, psychological, and social needs.
