The Center for Urban Community Services (CUCS) is a leading nonprofit urban social services provider based in New York. The Per Diem Mental Health Clinician will oversee the Friday evening and Saturday daytime program, delivering clinical services, outreach, crisis intervention, and supervision of a case manager.

The role may include facilitating organized classes and activities to support clients with mental health needs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, mental health counseling, MFT, public health, or related field.
• 2 years’ relevant pre or post Master’s experience (excluding internships).
• LMSW or LMHC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Friday evening and Saturday daytime program.
• Provide clinical services and crisis intervention.
• Supervise case managers and facilitate activities as needed.

The Per Diem Mental Health Clinician will oversee the Friday evening and Saturday daytime program. Responsibilities include provision of clinical services, outreach, crisis intervention, supervision of case manager, and occasionally facilitation of organized classes and activities.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in social work, mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy, public administration, public health, human services, psychology, or related field required
• 2 years’ relevant pre or post Master’s experience (excludes internships) required
• LMSW, LMHC preferred
