Job summary

Lower Bucks Hospital is seeking a Per Diem Medical Technologist or Medical Technician to support the clinical laboratory's daily testing operations. You will follow procedures for collection, processing, analysis, and reporting of patient results while adhering to quality control policies.

The role requires at least ASCP certification preferred, 1 year hospital lab experience, and appropriate licensure where required; duties include identifying and communicating test issues to supervision.

Qualifications

• ASCP certification preferred
• Minimum one year hospital laboratory experience required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or CLIA-equivalent education
• Current and valid state license where required

Responsibilities

• Adhere to lab procedures for collection, processing, analysis and reporting of patient test results.
• Follow quality control policies and document corrective actions for assay deviations.
• Identify problems that may adversely affect test performance and notify supervisor or Medical Director.
