Job summary

Atlantic Advanced Urgent Care in Clark, NJ is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician for per diem shifts with day and evening coverage. Duties include performing routine and complex tests on the Core Lab using Sysmex and Roche analyzers, ensuring QA, preparing reagents, and managing inventory.

Prior experience and ASCP eligibility are preferred. Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED; BS diploma with MT/MLS noted or transcript if not specified may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ASCP eligible preferred.
• Core Lab experience with Sysmex and Roche analyzers preferred.
• 3 years’ med lab tech experience or related.
• Copy of BS diploma with MT/MLS required if applicable; transcript for non-specified diplomas; foreign equivalency as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex lab tests on Core Lab using Sysmex and Roche analyzers.
• Adhere to quality assurance guidelines and document corrective actions.
• Prepare reagents, manage inventory, and minimize waste.
• Exercise clinical judgment to prioritize and troubleshoot test systems with appropriate channels.
