Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a per diem Biometric Screening Technician to perform on-site health screenings at client locations in the Indianapolis area. You will collect vitals, perform finger-stick blood collection, and provide basic health coaching based on results, while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Flexibility is offered with a choose-your-own-hours schedule and travel to events. Prior CardioChek Plus experience and healthcare background are preferred; per diem pay and safety

Qualifications

• Formal medical education with current medical certification.
• Additional medical certification/licensure as required by state or regulatory requirements.
• High School diploma/GED and/or medical license (Nurse, Phlebotomy Certificate, Medical Assistant, CNA, etc).

Responsibilities

• Perform biometric screening at client sites including finger stick, BMI, blood pressure, height/weight and other health screening services.
• Provide basic health coaching based on individual screening results.
• Perform basic waived testing procedures on blood samples using CardioChek Plus and perform quality control.
• Provide exceptional customer service at all health screenings.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and legible records.
• Comply with safety policies and PPE usage to prevent exposure to infectious agents.
• Adhere to HIPAA and OSHA standards during events.
• Travel to screening locations as required.
• Perform other related duties as necessary.
